What To Expect

First Appointment

Your first appointment begins with a consultation where we discuss your complaints and goals. Following this we move on to a thorough and comprehensive exam. Unless indicated by the exam, we progress to treatment. In certain cases, further imaging may be required before moving forward with care.

At the end of treatment, the doctor will go over the recommended plan of care to achieve our desired results. This first appointment typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour. Follow up appointments

After your initial visit, follow up appointments will be much quicker. Using your treatment plan as a roadmap, we will follow your plan of care and make adjustments according to your response to treatment. We will continue to work together to reach your desired results and make sure that you are getting the best care for your needs. Periodic re-exams will be performed to track progress. In our office, we believe in three phases of care:

Phases of Care

Phase 1: Actue Phase

You’re in pain and are looking for relief. In this phase of care, we are focused on reducing the pain as much as possible.

Phase 2: Strengthening Phase

Pain has decreased, and now we need to strengthen your movements with tailored exercises where you were having the pain before.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Some patients choose to begin with wellness care preventatively without prior complaints. The goal of wellness is optimal function and allowing adaptation throughout the body. For those with previous complaints, wellness is an important step in maintaining the progress we worked so hard to achieve.
